These are some of the questions that we answer in our “Archery Solutions: Combative Archery” program. While many people in the combat archery world are still stuck in medieval times, here at Ares Tactical Solutions, we have updated our program to fit the modern world. No more proving how fast we can sling arrows down the range! Instead our instuctors build on the strengths of the bow by learning to overcome it’s weaknesses.

Our goal is to take modern principles used by modern shooters and apply them to the world of archery with the idea of  the bow being the PRIMARY weapon.

One of the other HUGE differences between our archery program and other programs is that we are under the assumption that our adversary is armed with a MODERN GUN. No bow and arrow vs bow and arrow in this program!

When people leave our Combative Archery Program, they NEVER look at that old bow and arrow as a relic of the past or some hunting device they sit in a tree with again. Instead, the student realizes that it was never the weapon that became outdated but rather the user of that weapon failing to modernize their tactics and training to fit the ever evolving world of combat.

Students with no prior archery lessons need not worry because Ares Tactical Solutions offers a “Archery Solutions: Intro To Combat Archery” course for the user with no prior archery knowledge. Many people have always wanted to get into the world of archery but never knew where to start. Our intro class gives the student that chance before heading into the fast paced Combative Archery Program.

If the student has no prior archery experience, the intro class is necessary so that the student does not get left behind by our fast paced, combat archery course. If you are an experienced archer, feel free to step right into the combat archery class.
